What Is A Shaman?
A shaman is someone who works with both the physical and spiritual worlds to bring healing, balance, and clarity. In simple terms, a shaman acts as a bridge—helping people release what doesn’t belong to them (such as fear, trauma, or negative energy) and reconnect with their own natural strength. Shamans believe that illness and struggle often have more than just a physical cause; they can also stem from emotional pain, past experiences, spiritual interference, or even energies passed down through families. The shaman’s role is to find the root cause, remove what is harmful, and restore harmony so the person can move forward freely. Unlike traditional therapy or medicine (which are still important), shamanic healing looks at the whole person—body, mind, spirit, and energy—bringing deep alignment back to all levels of life.
One of the most important things to know is that shamanic healing works no matter where you are. Energy and spirit are not limited by time or place, which is why shamans do not need to see someone in person to help them. Just as you can feel love, prayer, or even someone thinking of you from miles away, a shaman can connect with your energy across any distance. Whether in person or remotely, the healing is just as strong because it happens on the level of spirit and energy, which transcends physical space. At its heart, shamanic work is about restoring connection—to yourself, to the world around you, and to the light that guides your life.
What Is Distance/Remote Healing
Distance/Remote Healing is a powerful method in Shamanism. My experience in both giving and receiving distance sessions is that it's powerful. Because with energy and spirit, there are no time and space limitations, we can send energy/spiritual healing across vast distances and into the past or future.
